Korean Snacks!

Nomnomnom…Just want to share some of the korean snacks my sister bought from her trip in Korea. If their cosmetic packaging is cute, then the packaging of these snacks are also gwiyeoun! :)
This is Market O Real Brownie, the box is really cute! It doesn’t look like a product from Korea though, because of the English labels and cartoon which looks very vintage :)

That one big box above contains 4 boxes inside.
image
Per small box, it contains 7 individual packs of brownies.
image
It taste a bit different from our usual brownies which are very sweet and some has a chocolate cream on top, this one is not too sweet, its soft and moist, tastes like a real homemade chocolate brownies^^ Its not bitter, just right sweetness.
image
Cute! Different packaging but all taste the same.
image
Just watch out for the calories, eat in moderation. :))
Check out their cute site! http://confectionery.themarketo.com/
Next are Choco Pies (chukopies!) and Wafer Sticks.
image
All choco pies taste the same for me, haha. If you look closely, they have different amount of calories. ~~okay I’m mentioning calories for conscious/curious people. C’mon, indulge sometimes and enjoy these sweet treats. :))image

Pepero! Its like Pepero Day! :)) Pepero Day is celebrated on 11/11 :)
image
Green- Chocolate with almond~ My favorite!
Yellow- Chocolate is inside/center of the stick
Pink- Strawberry
Sunflower seeds covered with chocolate
image
Cheese Ramen! Its not too spicy and its creamy because of the cheese.
image
This is really hot/spicy. I think this is the same with Shin Ramyun that we can find in our local super markets.
image
And that’s it! Check out any korean groceries near your place, they might have some of these snacks!

Some goodies to share for our cousins and friends :D

Nolita Pizza

Another post about food! Do you like pizza? Have you tried Nolita? Nolita is short for North of Little Italy, and it is located at Bonifacio High Street. Well when we were in Boni High last week, we didn’t really plan on where we’ll have our lunch, so yes, we went to Nolita randomly, so I really have no idea what to order or what is their best seller.
image
I am not feeling well (also not in the mood to take a lot of pictures) during that time so I just sat and asked my sister to order for me.
image
We ordered a slice of pizza each which is quite big already to make someone full.
image
This is what I ordered. Sausage Pepperoni Mushroom P250.
image
Steak and eggs P250.
image
Wild Mushroom Walnut with Ricotta P250
image
Spicy Italian Sausage P210
image
Potato Chip Fries
As I’ve said, the pizza slice is big enough to fill you and its loaded with toppings. I can’t say much for now as I haven’t tried most of their foods, so I’ll just put a rating:
Food: 3.5/5
Environment: 4/5
Service: 3/5
Price: 3/5
I asked my sister and my friend who were with me to rate it overall, 5 being the highest, and we all agreed to score it 3/5.
For me, I would still go back there and try other food from their menu, hopefully I’ll have a better experience. If you want to grab a slice of authentic New York style pizza, go visit Nolita.

Nolita is located at 7th Ave, corner 29th St. South, Bonifacio High Street Central, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Macarons and Tea at BIZU Patisserie

My best friend and I were walking around Greenbelt 2 when we saw a cute/ fine looking restaurant. We entered inside and we knew, we had to try their macarons and take pictures inside their oh-so-cute place.
image
Macarons and Truffles, anyone? ^^
image
BIZU was coined from the French word “Bisous”. Translated in English, the word means kiss. “Beso-beso”, the Filipino term for kissing, is one of the most endearing and enduring qualities of Filipinos. We kiss one another to show gratitude, happiness, excitement, love and affection. A kiss inspires. And this inspiration begets energy. This energy, in turn, begets creativity. BIZU was born out of this inspiration. From this inspiration came the unique selection of cakes and pastries that were truly made to inspire.  http://www.bizupatisserie.com/

Their menu. So pink.^^

Macaron de Paris.

Loose Leaf Teas. Okay, we thought we ordered a cup of tea each, then we were surprised that they served 2 pots of teas, turns out its per pot pala, which is P185 each. :| Anyway we ordered Ai, Ling Sencha and Cherry Fireworks which are both Green Tea.
image
We tried 4 macarons, P55/ piece. Italian Pistachio, Hazelnut & White Truffle, French Earl Grey & Almond and Raspberry.
image
Linguine with Pomodoro & Shrimps. This is Personal size P375, but may be shared by 2.

Subspace Coffee House - The Science of Coffee. The Seoul of Design.

If you are a kpop fan or into Korean culture, or maybe just into cute things, then you should visit this coffee shop in Ortigas. I wanted to visit since last year but I only got the chance to finally go there with my kpop fangirl friends a few days ago. I searched about it on the net and already has an idea what drink to order before going there. PURPLE POTATO LATTE, is a favorite drink in Korea.
image
Photo above is from Subspace fb page, I wasn’t able to take a picture outside the cafe. :) The little place looks so cozy, with kpop merch inside, cute displays and korean songs playing on the background, while you have your drink and chitchat with your friends :)
image
Chairs hanging on the ceiling. ^^
image
Their menu is on the wall. Jars and other cute and interesting displays are on the shelf.
image
This is what you’ll see first when you enter the coffee shop. Those posters are also for sale! :)

Yummy. Everything looks good~~ But the rainbow cake stands out in our eyes. :))

Rainbow cake slice- P120.00

Okay, I can’t help it but…. the cake really reminds me of SNSD’s Hyoyoen’s hair in I got a boy. ^^ So cute and colorful! :)) It didn’t taste really special. Just a sweet ordinary cake. But I’ll still go back to try other.
image
can’t help but take a lot of pictures. :)) I like my first ever Purple Potato Latte. I will order this again, but I want to try the Peanut Butter Latte on my next visit, which I think, soon :) My friends who’ve never been there and saw the pictures I posted on insta/fb, asked me to go with them and visit the cafe again.
Subspace Coffee House is located at Unit 103, GF Grand Emerald Tower, F. Ortigas Jr. Road, Ortigas Center, 1606 Pasig.
