Tony Moly Berry Berry Magic Lip Tint Review

Hello! How are you? I’m back with a quick review. ~~ Have to post this before meeting up with my friends later.^^  Here is a lip product from Tony Moly…

This gel type tint magically changes its color once you apply it on your lips.^^

It comes in 3 different colors. 01- Clear, 02- Apple Green and 03- Purple Grapes. I have the clear one. I’m not sure but I think all has the same effect.

For me, its not love/like at first use. I really have a dry lips so when I first used it, it didn’t really moisturized my lips. I thought its just sticky, maybe even drying and just one of those color changing balms. Then I used another lip balms and when my lips were in good condition, I gave this a second try and now its okay for me, I can finally use this again.^^

What I like:

- Its fruity scent!^^

- Its color! And it last for about 3-4 hours

- Small and light weight

-The gel doesn’t melt even its super hot these days, well its like a balm type tint.

- A little goes a long way, so I think this little tub will last for months.

- Affordable! P198 only. And you can purchase it locally :)

What I don’t:

-Not hygienic since I have to use my little finger. I know I can use a lip brush but most of the time, I’m too lazy to use one. ~~

-Since I use my little finger, its always color pink because the tint.

-Its sticky when you first apply it.

Neutral:

--Its moisturizing power (again, For Me. If you have a normal lips I think this will moisturize your lips well.)

I like this! I can sweep it on my lips so that I won’t looks pale, then I’m good to go! I think this is something really worth to buy, its affordable plus it can give your lips an instant color! If you are in a hurry or you are not really into lipsticks but want to have a pinkish/ reddish lips, go and try this magic lip tint from Tony Moly. :)

I am searching for a good eyeliner, a felt tip brush liner preferably. Then I visited Tony Moly and the SA recommended this, and me, being a korean cosmetics fan, I decided to give it a try. Its P458 and it disappointed me. :(

The packaging is typical black pen, but i don’t care about the packaging if the product is good.

I got the black one.

It is sealed. its always a plus point for me.

My thoughts:

When I was in the store, I just tried it at the back of my hand to see if it smudge easily, and it didn’t. But when I tried using it, its a bit difficult, like the ink/ liner doesn’t come out on the felt tip, like I have to apply it vertically/ tip down on my lids (how do i say it, like the pen should be like this:

And it doesn’t stay long. Yes I know its not water proof but the staying power is just so-so.

and another thing, this is not really a big deal, but why is that they don’t give me the free sample? like I would also like to try that bb.:)) When I came home and saw the receipt, the sample is included. This is the 2nd time. they didn’t give me the sample that I was supposed to get during my first purchase too. This is in SM megamall. Why put it on the receipt if they won’t give it? anyhoo…I’m just sad about this because its pretty pricey yet it doesn’t work well. :(

*I read good reviews on their gel liners, so I’m thinking about having it as my first gel liner. Have you tried it? :)

The SA told me that Tomatox Magic White Massage pack is one of their best sellers„ (i know, i researched first before going there actually^^)…Then I saw this TOMATOX Brightening Foam Cleanser, I don’t actually need a new one, but i also want to give it a try (and it matches with the massage pack..haha^^)

this is one of my favorite foam cleanser..:p

What are the benefits of Tomato on Skin?

Hoho, i’ll tell you the benefits of tomato in our skin based from what i read..:)

- it smells really good! but not too fragrant like a perfume! 

- washes away dirt and excess oil :) face really feels fresh and clean.:)

- packaging is good. :)

What I don’t like?

- everything is written in korean (back part) :( may be it would be better if there are info which are written in english.

Are you a fan of lip&cheek tint? Me-not-really. Though this product is a lip and cheek tint, i have only tried it on my lips, not yet on my cheeks, because i prefer using powder blushes. So this is how it looks like :)

PROS

-it stays long, seriously. see the picture above? i took that at night, then the next day, when i was about to wash my hand, i noticed that it is till there! it stayed that long huh? :p and according to my sister who also use this tint, it lasts from morning till she comes home from school~till night. amazing.:p

-just one swipe, then its enough. its highly pigmented.

-it’s not sticky! i don’t like sticky things on my face! :D

-simple packaging but still pretty

- i think it will also look good if applied on cheeks! :)

- i don’t know if its a good or bad thing, but it dries up fast and its hard to remove! 

CONS

-definetely a NO-NO for chapped lips. I normally have dry lips (which tends to be chapped always.huhu.), then i tried this, my lips turned out scary, like it formed a map. I quickly washed it with water and wiped it, and wiped it with a facial wipes again, but its really hard to remove! My mom even asked me what happened to my lips (looks like bleeding?), i didn’t tell her that i used this, i just said that I don’t really know, and maybe its just because i usually have chapped lips. (yes, my quest for the best lip balm is not yet finish :( i’ve been struggling with this problem since i was in high school, i already used a lot of different products—-nivea, libello, petroleum jelly, the body shop, blistex, chapstick, burt’s bees, and now, i’m about to try carmex. most of the products works well for me at first, maybe for about a month or two, but then my lips seems to be (immune?) fighting with it and starts to be chapped again.ooh, just a little sharing :))) my mom even told me that we go to the derma to have it checked. :((

-lip applicator is submerged in the tint, and i believe, when you apply it on your lips, microorganisms/germs tend to attach on that pretty wand, and as time passes, the tint will be contaminated.
