Too Cool For School is now in the Philippines!

Hello again! BRAND ALERT!: Too Cool For School is now in the Philippines! They now opened their first store in SM Mall of Asia. When I read about it, I wanted to go and visit their store. Too Cool for School is a unique cosmetic brand from Korea. Its all about a story of a girl who is too glamorous to just go to school. Anyway, as much as I wanted to take pictures inside the store, I got shy to ask if I could or if I will be allowed to do so. Sorry. So I just went around and checked out their products. The packaging are cute and unique, well their store is actually unique and cute too, not your ordinary super girly designs but its actually kinda creepy because of the medicine bottles and dolls but also cute in its own way. Who would have thought of designing their stuffs with dinosaurs?
You can find their store in Mall of Asia Entertainment Mall Level 2 Glass House near South Parking, Upper level of Krispy Kreme.
I got a small brown paper bag because I just got few little stuffs. They actually have the yellow paper bag if you'll purchase more items.
There were a lot of interesting products to try, but right now I'm kinda restraining myself from splurging for new stuffs as I have bough quite a lot of things last month. I just got the mini version of their BB Foundation Lunch Box in matte and 2 sachets of Mc Girly Good Morning Rice Wash. But I'll definitely go back for more especially their Dinoplatz Escalator Mascara, its really something different and cool! Its an adjustable mascara with cute design! The SA who assisted me is kind and nice btw! I hope Too Cool for School will have more branches soon! *Somewhere in Ortigas please?^^

Clinique Chubby Stick Mighty Mimosa Review

Hello! How are you? Hope you’re having a great summer! :) I’m back with a review. I hope I can post more reviews on the following days. *crossingmyfingers. All the photos are on my drafts folder waiting for me to put words and publish them. :( Anyway, here is my review about my first Clinique chubby stick. This is a gift from my aunt, so I’m not really the one who chose the shade but I’m glad that this is pretty good.
image
The original chubby stick~~
image
“Super-nourishing balm loaded with mango and shea butters. Just what dry, delicate lips need to feel comfortably soft and smooth. Sixteen natural-looking lip tints in all, each with a subtle sheen.”
image
image
Crayon like shape and tip.
image
image
As you can see, the color is very sheer. I think all the chubby sticks just have a hint of color because its more of a lip balm.
image
The color looks very natural right?
For me, sad to say but its not moisturizing enough for my dry lips. (Okay I have a serious problem with dry lips remember? So if you have a normal lips, I think this will work for you and you’ll love it). I use another lip balm before applying this. What I like? Its not sticky, and it doesn’t have a weird smell. It doesn’t look too glossy or matte. I like its color, I can use it everyday as it looks very natural. But for the lasting power, its so-so.
Final words for this lip balm? Its nice to try.^^ But I wouldn’t shell out P920 for a sheer colored balm that’s not moisturizing enough FOR ME. But maybe I’ll go for the new siblings of this. Continue reading! :P
Want to have a stronger and more intense color that last? Don’t worry, Clinique now have the Chubby Stick Intense! I want the Plushest Punch and Mightiest Maraschino!! (Yes these chubby sticks intense babies are on my wish list now!)
image
“Tempt lips with the new Chubby Sticks Intense’s soft cushion of colour that’s not quite sheer, not quite opaque-just the perfect happy medium. Available for Php920 at all Clinique counters!” -Clinique FB

Wait for my next reviews! Sorry if I doesn't post often.~~

Maybelline Magnum Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara Review

Mascara…I noticed I never posted any mascara reviews. I like using mascara to make my lashes visible (I’m not gifted with brows and lashes so I’m thankful mascara and brow pencils were invented!) So here, my current mascara from Maybelline. Well, its not something new in the market, I even used the the Maybelline Falsies first before trying this.
image
Who wouldn’t notice this bright yellow tube on Maybelline counters?
image
Yes, my sister and I love Maybelline mascaras, they are good and affordable! Here are the old tubes that I found in the drawer.(Found them when I was cleaning our room) image
I’m a lazy kid sometimes, haha^^, just got this from their site for more info, P429 is the old price, its just P399 now.

image
The wand. I like that it has a lot of bristles.
image
Yes, as you can see, I have a barely-there lashes :( But thanks to mascaras, they make my lashes appear to life. haha.:)) One coat is not enough for me, I need 3 and sometimes curl it again (I know its a no-no but I make sure its already a bit dry and just curl it lightly)
What I like:
- Its waterproof
- It doesn’t smudge, no panda eyes!
- It doesn’t irritate my eyes
- Affordable (P399 only! *When Maybelline is on sale, go grab/ hoard mascara/s!^^)
-Its gives some volume and a bit lengthening
- It’s not really hard to remove
- Cute packaging
- Locally available, you can find it easily!

What I don’t:
- The formula is a bit dry that  it tends to clump sometimes. (I hate clumps. Grrr~) I feel like it will dry fast unlike my Maybelline Falsies and Extreme Stiletto.
- The brush is big for my lower lashes which are super short, whenever I try it, the mascara ends up on my lower lid too than just the lashes alone.
Its a good mascara and affordable one, also something you can use regularly. It lifts up my thin, pointed downward straight lashes. But if you’ll ask me if Magnum vs. Falsies, I’ll pick the Falsies. :)

Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion Review

Another BB review again! You know how I like BB creams, and it seems like I can’t stop myself from wanting to try new bb, especially if it is raved about by many. So when I read a lot of positive reviews about Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion with SPF 50 + Pa +++, I was convinced and I immediately put it on my wish list.
image
imageTheir beautiful endorser is Song Hye Kyo + their new Homme endorser, the cute flower boy Song Joong Ki! (Click this for Model Story of Song Hye Kyo andSong Joong Ki) <3 ~~oh gorgeous people.
What is this Snow BB Soothing Cushion?
image

I tried the product when I went to Laneige in Robinsons Galleria, it has 4 shades (13 True Beige, 21 Natural Beige, 23 Sand Baige, and 31 Brown Beige). The SA asked me if my skin is acidic and I said yes, so she recommended the shade 13 and tried it on the back of my hand, (since its not so hygienic to try it on the face because of the sponge & cushion) and its pretty good but still I’m quite hesitant and thinking 13, maybe too light for me.  (~the SA is kind I must say^^)
Last February, my sister went to South Korea for their international tour (yeah, I’m super envious, I just think her course is awesome. I’m a bitter sister. ~~haha^^) And I asked her to buy stuffs for me (Korean cosmetics are cheaper there of course!^^). Top on my list it this.
image
You may notice it has a different box, not white+pink but a silver+black one instead, but the compact is just the same.  Its 37,000 won, so maybe about P1400. Its P1950 here.
image
I decided to get the shade 21 Natural Beige, and I think I got the right shade. :) image
What’s inside? The compact + refill

Love this puff.^^

Don’t be fooled by color of the cushion, try it to get the right shade.

What I like:
  • SPF 50 + PA +++ I don’t need to apply a separate sunscreen anymore!
  • Gives an instant brightening effect
  • Dewy and natural finish
  • Covers the redness on my face
  • Light to medium coverage and it doesn’t feel heavy
  • Its easy to apply and blend
  • I didn’t get pimples
  • It doesn’t have a strong smell
  • The puff! I love how the sponge works, it doesn’t absorb the bb so you get the product instead of the sponge absorbing it. And it dries quick, but….I’ll put it below.
  • The puff has a separate compartment and it has a mirror
  • It comes with a refill, so yes I’m glad its refillable.
  • It comes in different shades
What I don’t
  • Its hard to clean the puff sponge!
Neutral
  • The oil control. I just wish it has a better oil control
  • Though its quite pricey, I think its just okay since it comes with a refill, a refill alone is P950.

*This is my first time to use something from Laneige and it didn’t disappoint me, like it.^^ Thinking of getting the famous Laneige water sleeping pack next time maybe? ^^
Trivia: Do you know that Laneige, Etude House, Innisfree and more… are under one company? Okay I know these 3 are under AMORE PACIFIC, but I just found out recently that there are really a lot more brands under this big cosmetic company!
